    Crafting a service orchestration application which is part of vCenter Server. Around 30 engineers are working on this product.

    At the beginning, I mostly worked on the web frontend and backend. I was subsequently implied into the system heart and have participated in the re-architecture of the platform in 2010-2011.

    This software was originally developed by Dunes Technologies startup prior to our acquisition by VMware in 2007.

    • Achievements:

      • 2008 – 2010: Team coach of six people based in Lausanne and Sofia
      • 2010: UI based on Flex and Spring using a Rest API to communicate
      • 2009 – 2010: Re-architecture of the server using Spring after VMware SpringSource acquisition
      • 2008: Promoted to Senior R & D Software Engineer
      • 2007: Crafting a web framework (Tapestry / Dojo) to rapidly create web interfaces based on our application
      • 2006 – 2007: initiated the migration to a better quality management (automated testing, continuous integration and agile planning)
      • 2006: Integration of our application in the intranet of multinational companies (banks, telecommunication companies). Includes graphic design work

    A communication agency created in my last year of apprenticeship with three friends. We focused on providing innovative communication solutions to local SME.

    In 2011, the company continues its adventure and hired an apprentice.

    I remain associate of the company and benefit from its network but do not work for it anymore.

      • Crafting Pulp, a Ruby on Rails CMS targeting the SME market in Switzerland
